Jacuzzi filtration question
Chas:
Most makers program some sort of purge - especially if they have a blower.
HotSpring just routes a small line to critical areas to allow the small circ pump to move a little bit of water through all the jet system, and they don't have blowers.
Both systems seem to do the job of keeping out stale water.
One area nobody seems to excel at is keeping the water fresh near parts of the tubs which don't get constant use, or are actually shut off most of the time if not ALL of the time. Those would be water features and drains. I have had folks build their tubs down into decks or into a vault in the ground and as a result they just used a sub pump to do water changes. That water in the drain system which the factory so kindly built in for them can get funky if nothing moves there for years at a time...
