Jacuzzi filtration question
dfahy:
From what I understand the circulation pumps stays on 24x7. There are then options to choose two hours filtration every 12 hours, does that mean they turn on one of the jets to do so or is it still the circulation pump. If you do not have ozone hooked up does the circ pump need to always run or is there a way to have it run less? The more I learn the less I know.
Thanks

Which spa did you get again? 300 or 400

I have a Jacuzzi J230CD which has a circulation pump and an optional ozonator. The circulation pump is on 24/7 but all it does is circulate water through an inlet in the footwell. It also keeps the water at the set temperature, presumably by passing the water through the heater. Mine is set for the filtration to come on twice per day or every 12 hours for half an hour (this can be changed from a menu). This puts the main pump on on low speed as it is a two speed pump. The jets and waterfall come on but they are not on with the circulation pump. Hope this helps.

Jim, although he has a 200, I have a 300. Please do explain how the 300 circulates.

Do they not operate in the same way? I think that the J200 and J300 use the same circulation pump.
