Company won't fix our Cold Tub

The tub is not working. We're junking it and purchasing a different brand from a different company. Had trouble getting anybody to take it off of our hands because other dealers don't like to resell Hot Springs tubs because of the unreliability of the brand. The drain at the bottom of the tub was very hot (when the tub worked) & burned our feet if we stepped on it. Pieces of the hot tub frequenty fall off (jet pieces, etc.) The jets don't hit where a person would want regardeless of what size you are - I'm 5'3 & husband is 6'1. But, I guess that doesn't matter since the tub won't heat the water anymore (happened in the winter, had to be drained) and the manufacturer refuses to honor the warranty. Who wants to sit in a tub of cold water? Decided not to fix the tub at our own expense, because other past Hot Spring Tub owners we've talked to tell us this tub will just keep costing us money. So, we're starting over & cutting our losses.

Date Purchased: 2002
Price Paid: $7000
Recommend: No
Pros:
It holds cold water & would be a great purchase for those interested in practicing for the Polar Bear Club.

Cons:
Too many to list all cons. Dealer & Manufacturer were unwilling to honor warranty. Heater panel went out - we were informed that this is a frequent problem with their tubs. Seats & jets are not positioned in a way that the jets actually massage anything.
