I, as many others looked at a great many tubs before selecting the 370 (Beachcomber, Bullfrog. Coleman, Hot Springs, Leisure Bay, Marquis, Sundance and Sweetwater). My final two were Sundance and Jacuzzi, but the price factor with the Jacuzzi dealer was a big factor. The Sundance dealer in my area just would not budge on the price. I probably would have looked into the Marquis (and would have liked to) with more interest except the dealer was more interested in bad mouthing the competition (Jacuzzi and Sundance). I have used the tub for about two weeks now and am greatly satisfied by its performance. The jets are more than strong enough, hydrotherapy is great and it is extremely quiet. There is no problem carrying on a conversion with the pumps on high, even with the tub inside of a 10x14 gazebo. The tub is plenty deep for me (6' plus) but a couple of seats are too deep for my wife, so I got her a water filled booster seat that works well. The size is nice too, no problem fitting my family of 5 in it. My second choice in the Jacuzzi line was the 340, but my wife wanted the lounger and I liked the programable electronics. The LED lights were an added benefit, especially at night.

Cons:
Air controllers, since they are either fully on or fully off you don't have a half-way point and you need to have the pump(s) on to check if they are open or closed. |

We researched a large number of spas and 5 manufacturer's made the wet-test phase. Coleman 471, Caldera Tahitian, Sundance Cameo, Bullfrog 562 and this unit. We almost bought the Sundance Cameo because I really like their new jets but the dealer was not willing to be competitive (and provided false information). While each product had it's own benefits, the price/performance of the Jacuzzi 370 matched with the local dealer's service capabilities made the choice for us. We selected one of the more popular color combinations (Platinum on Coastal) and have set it on a slate patio. I also have the ozone and the stereo/CD options. Beside being extremely attractive, it is a well built unit. Great (Large) tub. One concern I had after reading internet posts was the jet power. These jets are actually quite strong.

Pros:
FLAT out Gorgious! Strong jets with "exceptional" action. Great large tub. Excellent price. Exceptional ownership and ISO9001 certification.
Cons:
It's almost too big. Original cover did not ship with the tub but will be here within a week. Local electrical guys had a hard time locating the 60amp GFCI. |
