Insulating Kits
« on: December 12, 2006, 09:34:06 am »
On page 32 of my owner's manual, under PREVENTION OF FREEZING it states:

"...the equipment compartment can be insulated with an insulating kit (available from your Tiger River dealer).  This kit will also help to maximize the spa's energy efficiency."

Does anyone sell/use such an insulating kit?

Your thoughts, comments and personal experience is much appreciated.

I saw that too in my caspain's manual. The dealer didn't know too much about it, and said no one has ever needed it.

I belive it's just some insulation you can attatch to the inside of the equipment door.

Drewstar,

I'm sure that's all it is too.  I was wondering if anyone had used it and if they noticed any energy savings whatsoever.

I guess I'm reaching here a bit.

I wouldn't worry about it.   ;)  If after this winter you feel you should invest in it, then take a second look.

I have a feeling you wont.
