Spas With Transducers (Tech Tip)
« on: September 07, 2006, 12:56:16 pm »
I had to change a transducer yesterday and my big questions was where did they put it. I know it is mounted to the shell but where. I came with an idea and it worked great. I used a magnet on the shell side to find it. The magnetic field was strong enough.

I am a scientist, I convert beer, wine and whiskey into urine.

So that's what the song "Tubthumping" is all about.

"I get knocked down...but I get up again....."

Good idea, transducers are also usually only on flat surfaces of the shell, they don't know too well in bends or curves.
