What is the Jacuzzi equivalent to a HS Grandee
« on: April 21, 2019, 05:38:48 pm »
I have been an wet tested numerous HotSprings and found the best fit (size, price, features) for us is a Grandee (approx £14,500).  We are UK based so options are limited but we have a Jacuzzi dealer fairly local so what would be the Jacuzzi equivalent to a HS Grandee based on size, price and features..

Thanks

I would probably say the J585.

I would probably say the J585.

Thanks.  Are they similarly priced in the US?  About a £5,000 difference in the UK.  £14,500 vs £19,500 J585

I would expect them to be similarly priced.  I don't have a Jacuzzi dealer near me so I don't know what it goes for, but I would expect them to be within $1,000 - $2,000 of each other.

Are they both 2019 models?

Honestly take a look at the J-385. We don't sell Jacuzzi brand anymore so no cards in this game.    But it's a dang nice spa for the dollars or Lira.

A J-385, J-485, & J-585 are the really big barrier free layout Jacuzzi models.

Those three models feel pretty much the same (very few jet differences).

I just purchased a Grandee and was comparing it against the Jacuzzi 585.  It was about $4k more than the Grandee.  The dealer tried to say the name recognition and the history was part of why they cost more. Not sure I bought that. I actually favored the Jacuzzi a bit more than the Grandee, but wanted the CoolZone system so went with that.  Jacuzzi doesnít offer anything like it. In DFW the summers are scorchers.  I thought it would be nice to cool the water down. With my old tub I tried to do it with some bags of ice to no avail. Iím hoping the CoolZone will extend my hot tubbing season through the summers too. Good luck with ur purchase!
