2007 Jacuzzi J-460 Display Suddenly Blank
« on: August 02, 2018, 12:53:39 pm »
Hello All,
I have a 2007 Jacuzzi J-460, and it was working fine, but one day I opened the cover to find that the display was totally blank, which I guess is referred to the “topside” display?

It’s completely blank without anything showing on the display. None of the buttons does anything, whether it’s the jets, etc.

I checked the breaker switch and those connections to the spa are fine, but something electronic inside the spa seems to have broken.

Any ideas what could be going on and how I could troubleshoot the problem using a voltmeter tool?

After turning the power off at the breaker, opening the panel and testing each fuse, I found that it was a burnt main fuse.

It’s an SC-30 BUSS Class G fuse, for anyone who encounters the same dead spa — a $5 fuse that Lowe’s carried and I quickly replaced it and now it’s working fine, and I’m happy that I won’t have to spend $160 for a service call plus parts and labor for whatever they would have diagnosed.
