PC Technician - 20+ years

And I'm not one of those helpdesk ones you talk to on the phone.

YEa, that helpdesk job is now handled by "Bob" in India.  LIke me,  you have done a lot of work on the original IBM PCs and Dos 2.1 :)       I go back as far as you, now a one man IT Dept and have my own home pc repair business here in Ohio.

CNC Programmer; IT Administrator; Planner

4 years ago we had 4 people filling these positions. Things slowed down, and I was left to do it all. We've picked back up the last 2 years, and I still do it all. That's why I have to work 60-70 hours a week, and need a spa.

Oh, plus I have 4 kids, 14, 10, 5, 5 weeks. So I really need a spa.

HEY ! !  I'm not a "newbie" anymore.  What a coincidence, my tub gets delivered today, and the electrician tomorrow.  Calls for a celebration.  Many thanks to the members who helped so much with the concrete and electric questions.  I feel as though we are somehow friends even though we never really met.

A great question for the forum.  I am a CPA in New Jersey.  Hence the username.
