You didnt Bonnie ;), its just strange ironic timing that why we were talking about a plumber on this forum, sure enough, a plumbing problem arises for another forum member. They are scheduled to be here in about 30 minutes, so I hope they take it easy on me!, and again I will report the rate when they are done ;) I think last time it was around $90/hr.

Tyheethan:
Irony again....Called just this morning to have plumber come out for Hot Water Heater not working (all weekend!).  $65 per hour with an hour minimum.  After seeing everyone elses prices, I feel fortunate at that price.  Even better, the work will be under warranty so nothing out of my pocket.

Water Boy:
I’m am up and running again! :D

The price was $84/hr with a five dollar gas surcharge, so not to bad. They were there less than an hour but have a one hour minimum, but they were very professional, clean, and did a great job, so another satisfied customer.

Renee:
We had to hire a plumber recently, and my husband was complaining about what they charge.
I asked him how badly he would like to be a plumber.
And then I said "that's why they charge what they charge".  People will pay it because they have no other choice.
Just doesn't appear to be a fun job...no matter how you look at it.  I think most deserve what they get paid.
Just my .02 cents.
