Jacuzzi and pricesq
« on: March 21, 2011, 09:03:09 am »
Looked and wet tested Jacuzzi J375.  Will be testing D1 spa next week .. Loved the jacuzzi massage jets , and even wet tested the 480 series.  2 dealers near me (NY NJ area) quoted me $10,100 for tub, tax , cover, lifter, chemicals.  Is this a decent price .. I would think I $10k item would have some more wiggle room and profit taking from dealer ? No?
Please let me know and does anyone here own a Jacuzzi tub cons and pro's?  I am told its energy efficient.  Saw another dealer with hotspring tubs but they look so outdated compared to clearwater jacuzzi and d1..

Welcome to the forum. That is a great looking tub. I haven't done any pricing in years though.

Are you asking for a price on the J375 or the J480? The price sounds Fair for the J480 but rediculous if they are charging 10K for a J375.

The J375 is a nice tub....price wise pretty hard to tell if a great price or not. i think a lot will depend on wether east coast or west coast partly because of the freight cost... from what we see over on the west if you took freight5 cost out of it pretty good price.... I see you are going to look at the D1 which model are you going to look at...D1 also a very good brand....cannot go wrong either way...

Really the price of $10,100 was for the J375 , I thought it was ok.. I guess maybe im wrong.. This tub would be ordered in NY (staten Island ) area.. One person gave me a price of $10,500 another for like $10,200 .. Most likely going to add ozonator onto it.  It actually was including taxes etc. Tub was $9,800 (included with stairs, cover , lifter and stainless steel jets..) Do u think im overpaying ?  So out the door was around $10,200 with taxes which is $685 in NY...  Love the feel of the jets for massage therapy in JAcuzzi Tub. Is the D1 similar ?

there should be a lot of similiarities in the jets, just depending on which model D1 you are looking at for the type and style.. Which D1 are you looking at....

Believe it was the Aurora with headrests and jets on headrests. I have not wet tested it yet .. I was very IMPRESSED with the jacuzzi jets and relaxation it provided in the 30 minute wet test .

The Jacuzzi J375 Sells for $10,500 Canadian. To me it's priced high. I don't know its' what ever you feel comfortable paying I suppose.  :)

That is a nice model the Aurora ,,, i think you will find the jets to be just as good as the Jacuzzi. see my post on the the other site. Price wise should come under that price as well , The adjustable Neckflex headrest is one of a kind has 4 adjustable jets and the headrest has 4 adjustsments for height,,,the other nice feature is the menu driven controller, it will tell you when to change water, clean filters, so there are several reminders, and if there is a error code it will also give you descriptions of what the possible fix is, most other spas, just give you a code...

I just bought the jacuzzi 365 same tub minus the lounger for 7,000.00 with all extras.  i live in buffalo ny.  That price seems high for just a lounger. of course it could be because of the area you live in

The J355 is the tub BufffaloPaul is thinking of thats the same as the J365 except a lounger model. The J375 is slightly larger but retailed for only 500-750 dollars more at the local Jacuzzi dealer here in Ontario.
