Shop around ONLINE first. Expect 4 hours to get the basics. 20 hours pre-purchase total. Then visit the stores. Smoe have Pre-Install booklets that help you plan you project and site without relying on professionals completely.

Date Purchased: 04/2006
Price Paid: $12000
Recommend: No
Pros:
Definitely the most therepuetic desing on jet placements (Hydrotherapy) - spa quality. I was quoted $12,000, lights, stereo, speakers, steps, cover etc NOT INCLUDED.

Cons:
I was quoted $12,000, lights, stereo, speakers, steps, cover etc NOT INCLUDED.
So I checked my emembers only large club store on line, local national home improvement stores, local International one-stop discount store with nothing but big yellow smiles for the prices. I am chosing the Large national membership club store for HUGE features under $5000 with great mechanics. I know my club sotre well - they stand behind their goods.

Former hot spring and D1 owner.
Best tub I have owned!! HANDS DOWN!!
The lounger is made so you will not float up like you do in a lot of spas!! We wet tested Master Spa LSX 700 and we have owned D1 Aurora XLT and Lotus Bay - Hotspring Landmark - Great spas but I like this one the BEST!!

Date Purchased: !/07
Price Paid: $8500
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
Power
Lights - the look
Lounger

Cons:
Wish I had the space for an 8 foot spa!

It's fun to read reviews, but I'm writing this one from my new tub. Bought from local dealer on direct advice of local trusted hot tub repairman. Picked from available in stock models that were close enough for color, size and ended up getting higher end model at OK price. Delivery and basic throw ins but look out for the electrician, unexpected big bill to properly install new breaker, gfi, box, conduit etc.

Ask me in 10-15 years but seeing the rotting mess that was the disemboweled remains of our old tub sawed up and taken away, bees nest, ants - yuck. NO FOAM FOR YOU!

Clean efficient and working nicely without fear of electric shock - don't skimp on the proper electric fail safe's.

103.7 with electric thermometer after 35 mins in waterfall ZEN mode tub set at 104.

Not sure about some false economies of shopping for a year to save $200 - Support your local hot tub / spa dealer by buying locally and then they will be in business when you need them .2 months after your warranty expires. I have 60 months before it's my concern, which counting two dips a day, my usual - comes to over 3,600 happy tubs, not counting chemicals or the $25 per month for electricity you are down to $1.59 per use or including the above still under $2 at $1.99 per use.

DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF. - Buy it now and be relaxed for Armageddon ;-)

Happy Gorge Tubber

Date Purchased: 9/12
Price Paid: $5700
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
I'm sitting in it
It's 103.9 now
It will not become a bees net, mouse house or ant colony
I can assure I'm not running a pest hostel by opening a panel with 1 screw and SEE the inside of the cabinet
I won't piss off the repairman if I ever need him
The lounger
The cover 4.5 inches
The lifter
The fact that it's ALWAYS turned on and always let's me in

Cons:
Wished it came with a lithium kit or oxycodone infuser
The 2-3 days I didn't have it before I bought it - lol

We love this spa, it is great the jets, air, the seats. and especially the salt system.
Tops in our book :)

keep in mind the price in the how much did you pay is in Canadian dollars not US.
And that was everything, cover, lifter, delivery, steps, etc.

Date Purchased: February 2011
Price Paid: $9200
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
Everything so far.

Cons:
wish the delivery guys would have known how to set up the salt system. So nothing with the actual spa :)
