I really like the lounger, very comfortable. All the seats are beautifully contoured and at different heights, not angular and boxy like I see in other Mfg tubs. I also like the built in grab handles, adjustable and interchangeable jets, the reflex foot massage is incredible. I like the Protect feature, very quiet operation. You can have a conversation in the tub with all the pumps going full bore. I also ordered the 24 Hour silent hush pump, 5.5KW heater, Ozone generator, EnviroSkirt 4"-3" Eco Cover, Lift N Store Cover Remover, 5 year Premium Guarantee, Chemical Kit, (Lithchlor Program) Spare filter, Filter Cleaner Canister, Floating insulating blanket and hand held Jet, lets you direct the stream exactly where you want it.
A quick note, my House has a 100 amp electrical service, so having enough power is a concern. This tub uses less than 30 amps (240 volts) to run, so it won't stress my other electrical requirements and I do not have to go to the large expense of upgrading my electrical service.
Beachcomber is Manufactured in my area and has a very good reputation and Dealer network. I have two dealers within a few miles to choose from. I have friends that own Beachcomber tubs, some for over 7 years and have been trouble free. Beachcomber is known for building very high quality and energy efficient Hot tubs with second to none warranty and back up.
I payed $6500 Canadian, Electrical approx $1200.00 for labor, teck cable and GFI . With all the Extras including taxes $8309.00 cdn.
Color: tough choice, I liked the Beachwood 9White)however I went for Sandstone, as it is the most pratical color. Pebble texture and does not show dirt or scratches. See picture.
