Any ideas on what is a fair price for an almost 2 year old HS Vista. It has the spa audio option, which I would never pay for. Also includes steps and a cover cradle.
My thinking it would have to be a GREAT deal to buy used off the street.
There is the cost of moving the tub (say at least $300 for pu and delivery), which would normally be part of a new purchase.
There would be no warranty, and the first time I have a problem, there goes $500.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I'm just spitballing, but that tub NEW probably sold for around $9K +
The problem is gonna be the steroe. That's a $1500 option that you see no value in.
Considering that there's , no warrenty, delivery is extra, your gonna need new filters, and a 1500 accesory that you don't want, I don't see this being a viable option for you unless it's priced under 6500.00 Otherwise, you are better off buying a new tub fro arund 8K without the steroe, that has the warrenty delivery, new cover, new filters, etc.
What are they asking for it?
offer them $ 4,500 cash. Folks don't sell a 2 year old top of the line fully loaded hot tub for no reason. Why are the selling it?

They are selling because they sold there house. They want $9,000, but are in a bind and have to move it soon.
I am not trying to low ball them, but will only buy if it's in my best interest. I had been looking at the Marquis Epic and the Caldera Geneva, and the prices ranged from 8300 to 9000. So if I buy used, I'm thinking of spending no more than 5,500.

re:"They want $9,000"
Are they on drugs?
At that kind of asking price, I doubt they are
going to drop to the "just cant say no" price.

Low ball em. wait them out when it gets closer to moving day, give them another visit. ;
