People who use those types of enzymes report good results with them. There have been a few people here and on Doc's board.
At one time I was thinking about trying them but since I'm cheap when it comes to certain things I couldn't justify spending the money when chlorine does a great job at a fraction of the cost. Then again if you add the cost of the N2 or Frog with using chlorine or bromine, the cost may be close to using that product.

I used ECO 1 for 18 months and it's OK, but I experienced no advantage over N2 + CL. The disadvantage was having to use a lotta MPS to keep the water looking crystal clear.
Note that prior to using ECO 1, I had used BR which made us all sick.
Yes, my tub has an ozonator.

I believe Barefoot and Hawkeye are the same manufacturer.
Haven is a marketing company. Spas are manufactured by another company. So, they have one small manufacturer and one Internet based assembler on board.
