Title: My Water Stinks

Now before all you Bullfrog bashers get your knickers in a twist,

ITS NOT FROM THE WATER BEHIND THE JETPACKS ;)

   On Thursday I noticed a strange "plasticy" odour from our tub water, so I shocked with MPS, figuring it to be combined chlorine.   Saturday the odour was still there :-?
     So, ever wondering about all the Bullfrog rumours I checked in behind the jet packs and the water and plumbing all looked fine,  I even went so far as to sprinkle a little dichlor in behind each seat.
  Took alk and pH readings and all is OK,  TDS was fine 2 weeks ago when dealer did test.  So I wiped down all the surfaces and the cover and shocked again with MPS
   Today when I got home the odour is still there :-?

Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry, I guess I should have added that.  The water is about 2 months old

No, not normally about 2 or 3 times per week

Ever think it was coming from the cover and/or the bar top above the water line? Try some bleach and water on those surfaces, just may take care of it. ;)

How old is the spa.  Cover is a likely suspect.

Hottub.pool-boy and hottubdan,

     Tub is only one year old and when I shocked on Thursday I did wipe down the underside and all the seams of the cover.

    Just got home and went and took a whiff,  smell is still there but its not as bad :(

If I can't get rid of it by the weekend I will dump and refill
