Sorta. My 2007 Maxxus is ready for delivery, sad thing is the electric is not. It's all installed and I guess I could probably connect it and run it, but I changed out the electric service from 100 to 200A, and Austin Energy insists that they need to do a load analysis b4 green tagging and connecting the new service. The new service is running through the old service until I get my green tag. I hope to get all this taken care of and take delivery by next week.

congrats. It is tough to wait for delivery, but even tougher to wait for USING the darned thing when it is sitting in your yard!

Take pics! Congrats on your tub. :)

Confess, how many times have you sat in it so far? ;)

There must be a little confusion. When I said "it's all installed..." I meant that the electric is installed, just waiting Austin Energy to allow me to connect the new service instead of feeding it from the old 100A service. Sadly, the tub is off in some warehouse somewhere. I could probably run the tub off the old service since it is winter and the A/C isn't running. Could probably put an amp probe on the service wires to know for sure. Hope to be tubbing by mid-week, surely by next weekend.

I just seem to have comprehension problems this week. :'(

I really can't wait to see it. It is very similar to the 2006 floor model, but the 2007's have some new LED exterior lighting, and LED lighting at the control knobs and such (at least some of the control knobs), plus an iPod dock. If I only had an iPod.... I might go visit it's cousin at the dealer this weekend.

Sundance Spas of Austin will be at my house at 2 for delivery. I figure about 10 hours to heat, and I have to catch a plane early in the morning, but I'll be back tomorrow evening for my first soak.

Hope you enjoy!
Odd that we say "a beer" and "a pitcher of beer" and also "a margarita" but not "a pitcher of margarita." Maybe beer is/are like deer.

You didn't say how long you were going to be in Lubbock.

Well, I did go look yesterday morning B4 heading to the airport. 87F. WTF? Turns out it was set to economy mode. Fixed that. It was 101 when I got home last night. First soak was great. Very flexible tub in that each seat offers something different, from very powerful (can be regulated down) to more gentle. Foot dome is awesome. Need to spend some time getting to know just what and how all the controls work. You'd figure that the owners manual would describe all that in detail, but I have not found it yet.
