I was surprised to find out that Marquis has decided to give me a new cover for the one that had 2 of the straps torn off.
This proves that the warranty does follow the spa from one owner to the next. Good deal.

Doobie, I think it's great that Marquis honors their transferable warranty. I wish all the other manufacturers would offer the same policy. Marquis is a class act.

Yes they do and I agree that all manufacturers should emulate this. The obvious concern is that all guarantees come at a price. Very few consumers realize that when considering price and value of the overall spa.

I think I was more surprised that they are going to replace the cover at all. Two straps tore off at the seam and I was prepared to buy a new cover.

If the spa was still under its manufacturers warranty and it wasn't abuse, you shouldn't be! ;)
