I always enjoy looking at pictures others have posted, so in return, here are a few shots of our first new hot tub installed on December 20th. You may notice no cover lifter, it is backordered. A nuisance, but not a deterrent.
Merry Christmas to all ...

Happy tubbing

You have excellent taste in a tub! (ok, I own one just like it with sterling marble). Nice set up. I really like the parquet effect of the decking around the tub. Are those lights along the step? I'll bet it looks great at night.
Good Luck and Merry Chrismakahwanza!

Congrats and welcome to the forum! Is that a pool next to your hot tub?

What a way to start the New Year! Good for you!!!

Thanks for the comments folks! Yep, we've had it open for 3 days and been in it 3 times. Can't wait till the first calm snowfall. Actually tonight it is clear as a bell, so another experience is awaiting.
Yes, those are tube lights along the steps and raised tub deck ($10 for 18 feet at Home Depot). And yes, that is an above ground pool near the tub.
Best wishes...

did you dry test????? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Looks great. Great to be getting a tub around Christmas time. :D ;D

Happy pickled skin to ya.

Covercradle or Gliderite would be well deserved in a couple months. Nice Install! Conveniently close to the back door.

I'll be interested in hearing how the pedestal idea works for you...our tub is on a deck a bit lower than the main deck, and I still feel "exposed"...but it looks wonderful, regardless!!

Congrats! Looks nice.
Hey, you might want to move the bug zapper. They work by attracting bugs. ;) I have mine set up on the paramerter of the yard.
-
drewstar, ya CAN'T move the zapper....if you do, then the bugs get all crispy...this way they stay all moist and juicy after cooking. :D ;)

Tatooed_Lady,
I appreciate your comments. Yes, my wife had the same concern about tubbing so high up (exposed to the elements/neighbors)!!! Unfortunately I could not step down because it would have been too close to the ground. So I had to go up for structural support. Anyway, I plan on adding a pergola to the 'tub deck' which will allow me to screen in the sides. This will help with the privacy thing and the wind.
drewstar,
All I can say is I hope the zapper doesn't fall into the tub (it will fry more than just bugs, hotdogs anyone? Hehehe!).
