Post by: HSKRN8N on December 11, 2006, 02:53:48 pm
Just quoted a price of 7995 for spa - lift- steps.  Is that a good deal or not?  Thanks!

I think $2000 would be a fair price. No, I kid.

HSKRN8N.....where are you?

It appears price many times depends on location.

Isn't Avalon the new series Cal Spas is offering?

Oh by the way....IMO this site is anti-CalSpas and extremely pro Hot Springs.

However with that said I am a very satisfied CalSpas first time customer.....but you should wet test and investigate several brands including HS before purchasing. The dealer is just about as important as the brand.

Good luck.

That is a good price for that tub.  I recently sold one for $10,595 CDN.  There is quite a bit of power in that tub for the jets  the footwell is huge even with the foot dome  so there is plenty of room to walk around.  If you want more info just PM me

Hey Pathfinder....did they change the drink holder on the new Avalon series?

From this picture they look different than on my SQ92....maybe deeper?

Looks like you don't loose a corner seat with this tub ya like you do on mine.

They are a bit deeper   and that style will be incorporated into many lines in 07

The multi leveled seating on this tub was a big plus for us for the fact that we had a lot of interest in an 8' tub with 4 corner seating.

Colorado!!  Thanks, yes I realize this is a anti-anything but HS BUT I have owned a Hotspring spa and they are overrated for the cost.

Since your in Colorado  Spaman would be the guy to hook up with  but I havent seen him on here in a while.

If you can wet test the 857 do it   some people tried the one we had in the showroom
and opted for the less powerful 844 it all comes down to preference.  I must say the neck jets have intense power and will never need to be on full.
