Good evening one and all! I've been enjoying my Marquis Quest quietly in the background here for several months. Just recently I've begun to wonder if my Ozone Generator is actually functioning. There are still little bubbles that come out of the Mazei (sp?) port in the tub when the pump is running - but I can't see any "purple" light in the instrument cabinet. Any ideas, suggestions? I've put in a call to the store that I purchased from - no response from them yet.... :-?

Since Marquis doesn't use a circ pump, the light should only be on when filtering. If that's the time that you are looking at the ozonator then it probably is not working. Also, if you hit a button the ozone may shut off for a certain amount of time, I know mine does.
Check the connectors to the ozonator.

I usually wait till the cleaning cycle bout every 2 months or so and pull the access panel and look for the light.I know u cant see it thru the screens btw. Also I'm assuming it would come on anytime u have ur pumps on low.

Are you guys talking about a UV ozonator, and the purple light is the UV light? If you have a CD ozonator, is there something you can look at to know that it is still working?

I believe all ozonators have an indicator that it's on.

I can't speeak for other manufacturers but our (Dell) has a small window in it that glows redish/purple when operating and its a CD unit
