Title: Its about time??  (Jacuzzi question)
Post by: slimchance on October 15, 2006, 10:12:31 am
Well the tub has been up and running for a few days now and everything is running flawless, well almost everything…

My j-365 is losing about an hour a day??  Not sure if this is a problem since I don’t rely on my hot tub for giving me the time of day.  I know it just uses a 24 hour clock for doing its filtration cycles.  Is this common, or should I be worried?

What do you mean it's losing an hour a day?

I set the timer on the contol panel (Hour, Min, am/pm).  It has 4 automated filtration cycles above and beyond the 24hr circ pump.  Sort of a deep filter cycle.  I can adjust set points for when it does this and for how long.  I noticed after a couple of days that when it goes through one of its cycles, it is not where I set it according to real time.  When I check the panels time display, its way off.

OOPS... I looks like I'm gainig an hour every day not loosing. ::)

On Friday I set the tub time to my watch.  By Sunday it was 2.5 hours ahead of my watch.  I have put in a call to the dealer.  They called and said they are contacting Jacuzzi.  Not sure where it goes from there but other then that the tub is amazing!!!
