I was curious about this. What area of the country has the most hot tubs? North, South, East or West. It would appear that a lot of the people on here are from the Northern part of the country with exceptions to Mr Texas. Dealers, is there any data out there from mfg's on this. Just wondering! ;D

I'm placing my bet on Southern California.
Both my neighbors (and now me too) have hot tubs.

Well... apparently Canadians love their tubs too!
I've been told that my little city of London Ontario (aprox 400K people) has one of the highest per-capita concentrations of hot tub dealers in all of North America.
In no particular order, I had these to choose from within a 50 KM radius:
Arctic
Beachcomber
Caldera
Cal-Spa
Coast Spas
Coleman
Catalina
Hot Springs
MAXX
Pacific
Emerald
Dynasty
D-1
L.A. Spa
Sundance
Sunrise
Hydropool
Hydro-Spa
Marquis
Master Spa
Can Spa
Gulf Coast
Jacuzzi
Great Lakes Spa
Royal Spa
Bullfrog
Viking
...and at least a half-dozen off-brands that I can't remember right now.
It was only with a lot of research and tons of helpful insight from this forum that I was able to narrow down the list for wet-testing. So...um, THANKS! ;D

These areas also have higher concentrations of spa owners:
The Northwest (Seattle, Portland)
Colorado
Minnesota

HotSpring and Sundance both started in Southern Cal - with their number one market being San Diego.
A few other brands got going in that area too, but none come to mind right now...

I think Colorado ranks very high.... 8-)

Yes, I know some people from Colorado who are very rank, and often appear high.

Depends on what statistics you want to use. The county with the most hot tubs (per capita) is Logan County, Ohio
Very low permanent population and a lot of rental cabins and they all have hot tubs.

my bet is California.
