Post by: salesdvl on October 06, 2006, 02:00:01 pm
I thought I would stop by and post that today is my last day with L.A. Spas.  Monday I start as a territory sales rep with Waterway.

Ahhh, takin one of those cushy rep jobs eh? ::)

I'll be in-house.  I'm actually going to be working in their Pool Division rather than Spa, working with Distributors and Builders as well as Retailers.  My territory will be similar to the one I have now.

salesdvl, congrats with your new endeavor. I bet it's tough to work in the spa business for a living.

It certainly has it's share of challenges, as does every job I would think.  In an odd twist, I now will be working for a company that sells products to many spa maunfacturers that up until a few weeks ago were considered the "enemy".   :)

Well, I'm doing much better.  Found out this weekend I had a kidney stone (the pain was excruciating)!!  Ended up in the ER on Saturday & had to spend the night in the hospital.  Luckily hubby took me to the hospital he works at, so they took really good care of me.  Had to have a stent put in because (as dear hubby put it) my stone was the size of a .22.  No way I could pass it, so I had a procedure today to break it up.  Funny enough, they put me in a tub of warm water, while I was anesthetized, and they used sound waves to break it up!  Hubby decided we could have modified my tub to take care of this for me!   ::)  But I am on the way to recovery.  I even tried to use the tub on Saturday morning to ease the pain I was in.  Thought it might relax it away!  No such luck!!!!!

:-*  Thanks for asking!!  How have you been???

CONGRATS!

Kinda nice to be given direct exposure to a different product line!  Your new/existing customers will appreciate your objectivity and experience in the tub industry, I'm sure.

Best of success to you!

First of all... Steve & Lori, get a room.  Or at least your own thread.  ;D   ;)

Secondly, thanks to everyone for responding and giving me well wishes.  I appreciate it.  I have now completed my first week and can tell you that at no time did "FF vs TP" or "100% filtration vs bypass" come up.    8-)

HOWEVER... things like "Head Pressure" did.  ( By the way, it does not mean what I originally thought it did.  ;)   )

Thanks again, and yes, I will stop by from time to time and keep Terminator honest.  :)
