Wife gave birth today. 9lb. baby boy. Everyone's fine, mom and baby are great!

Congratulations to both of you!  My son is the best thing that ever happened to me.

I just got finished playing Madden 07 with him.  He kicked my butt.  16 years old.  :)

Good to hear all is well.  Girls run in our family, no boy's yet.  BUT in January my grandaghter is expecting a BOY.  It will be nice to have a little boy running around.  But it really doesn't matter, just so it's healthy.

Best wishes, I have two boys and they sure make my life fun. Enjoy these special years because they grow up so very fast. You'll turn around, and he will be a teenager!

Feed him lots of red meat, taters, and ice cream with a sprinkling of gunpowder as a topping and he'll be one tough linebacker when he grows up!!!!

Thought I'd share an ironic situation.... So the hospital's pediatric doctor checks the baby, she says,"Baby looks great everything's fine. By the way, are you guys any relation to the hot tub people in Bristol?" I said, "Why, we are the hot tub people." She says, "This is weird, you're delivering my new Envoy hot tub tomorrow." I almost fell over. Connecticut is a small state after all.

Thanks again, the family is coming home tomorrow.

Congrats, best wishes on sleeping through the night! ;)  The pain and headache can turn to giggles down the road...like the time I heard a commotion in my kitchen, heard my son (then about 3) yelling "Moooooom!MOOOOOMMMMM!!" and I went running......I stopped short when I got there, as he was dangling by the undershorts from the handle of a drawer handle.....legs kicking away, arms flailing....trying in vain to get unhooked....
once I wiped the tears from my eyes and caught my breath, I let him loose, and he hasn't stopped moving as of yet! (he's now 15......yikes)

Congrats! So far I'm not brave enough to wander into the realm of parenthood.....but I admire those who do. An instruction manual and full waranty sure would make it easier.
