Sense the D1 dealer is pissed off by not wanting to deal with me on the price of the spa, now I am looking at the Geneva by Watkins. ( I will miss the life time warranty on the shell)
I love the no by-pass water filtration system with Hot Springs, but they don't fit My wife as well, but she loves the jets that she will get with Geneva, even thought I will loss my lounger not getting the D1. (She is more important to me)
If I can get a close answer to this question.
Is the price of about $7375.00 pretty good for the spa?
North West Colorado ( Delivery&Set Up, Cover, Cover Lift, Start up Chemicals, Steps, Extera filter (100 Ft.) no trip charge and of course the GFCI box the comes with to spa.
Tex is there a better filter I should get for my tub?
Thanks for everyones help,

I just got back from my first day at the fair and I stopped by to update the Spa Wars Soap Opera in the General BS section and saw this post.
I'm really not much of a Caldera expert as we don't carry them at this time. I can say it is a very high quality spa and you will be able to enjoy it for a long time. The price looks pretty good.
As far as the filter, I'm not aware of Caldera offering any other options at this time. It's true that it doesn't have 100% No-bypass filtration, but the filtration is equal to or better than most other spas. If it turns out to be the best spa for you and your wife, I wish you nothing but happy and fruitful soaks for many years. :)

Be careful, we found out exactly what he means by "fruitful."
No, Calder doesn't offer a Tri-X or other fancy filter. But there's nothing to stop you from asking for an EXTRA filter. It's nice to have a spare so you can swap them at a moment's notice while one soaks in filter cleaner.
That seems like a good price to me - but I'm in a different market.

Ditto.

Maybe I am misreading your post, but the Caldera Geneva DOES have a lounger. Great price on a great tub by the way!

Just me, don't miss the D1 "lifetime" warranty too much, after 7 yrs you pay to have the tub shipped back to california for repair - not as big a deal from CO, but a big consideration for me in NY

The geneva is a great spa....for 7300.00 if it is a utopia, then that is a fantastic price. What d1 dealer got pissed off seeing im in CO?
-
Frankly, it sounds to me that the price is way too low.

True, you want to make sure you're not missing something (is it an '06, full warranty, wet model possibly, etc.).
-
Great price. That is several hundred less than we paid in CT back in May. We love the tub. Good luck with what ever you decide.

Hi Hottubdan,
I got the full price today not to much more, $7700.00
Yes '06, full warranty and no wet test model.
Thanks

Excellent tub! Great Price! You will be very happy. :)

Yes, that is a great price. You'll love it. As mentioned before, the Geneva does have a lounger, so you won't miss it. In fact, it is a very comfortable lounger with great foot jets at the end.
I'd go for it as you clarified it is an '06 and new, you are getting a great deal. :o

Sounds like i may drive to colorado to get one.... I was quoted 9200 before tax, etc. in Utah.
