Title: It arrived!!
Post by: dptubber on September 03, 2006, 07:36:14 pm
After 5 long weeks, it final arrived yesterday.  Took only 45 minutes to set it in place.  It was set on my deck by crane and quick lesson by the delivery folks and I was a new owner.  The electrician putz around for a few hours and then the heating began.  I had the electrician do a few other small projects so he was around to give me updates as the heat was rising.  Shortly after he left, I noticed that the heating stopped at 85 degrees.  A little worried, I began going through the troubleshooting area of the owners manual.  Could not figure it out and finally realized he inadvertingly locked the temp.   Had a quick laugh and the heating began again.  Finally, the soak.  It was wonderful!  Didn't want to get out as there was nice crisp breeze that made the experience even better.

I'd been lurking and got alot of advise from this forum.  Thank you all.

Proud owner of the Sundance Marin.

Live in michigan so no rolling hills or mountains.  Behind my house are wetlands, so a lot of nature.  It is very quite and lot of privacy, except for the many sounds of nature.

Looks great!  You're going to enjoy some good times in your new tub.  We've had our tub for about 6 weeks now; I'm actually looking forward to our freezing Michigan winters this year because we can "escape" to warm waters  ;D

Very nice.

What is that wooden arch thing with the green thingy hanging from it?

well tn_hot_tub, funny thing you asked about the wooden arch thing.  Now its an eye sore, but at one time it extended to the house to make an arbor.  Took the roof down to finish off the house trim work and added gutters.  Pretty sure I will cut down the posts and add some sort of lights to cap off the shorten posts.  Oh and the green thingy was an upside down tomato planter that didn't produce any tomatos....ugh!

But, if anyone has an other creative thoughts, i'd be glad to hear them.

Yay, Marin!  :D

I wish it wasn't ridiculously expensive to change my cabinet from the orange/red to the gorgeous coastal... Perhaps down the road I'll take the plunge and buy new cabinetry. I have the old Silver pearl color, but Platinum would've been my second choice for sure! So pretty at night! Congrats..
