Title: Grandee model question
Post by: Bill75 on September 02, 2006, 12:03:05 pm
We have had our HS Grandee for a few weeks now and our only regret is waiting so long to buy it.   :) However, we have a question for those of you who are very knowledgable about these tubs:  What is the difference between a Grandee "G" and Grandee "GG"??  Apparantly (at least according to our electrician) there is a difference in the box.   According to the manual, the GG has a slightly smaller heater, and the plumbing to the jets is slightly different.  (one pump feeds both moto massage chairs on the GG).  Does any know if there are any other differences?  Why the two "versions" of the same model?  Does it really matter?

Thanks.  Gotta finish my Saturday work so we can go in the tub again now that the "Ernesto" storms have gone by.

G is the "Classic Series" Grandee, only comes in white endurol colored shell, has single moto massage jets instead of dual moto. Therefore has smaller powered jet pump. In the GG model, spa needs more power to work double moto, hence the electrical differance.

Thanks!  That makes perfect sense, and now explains why we never talked about it with the dealer:  we started looking at the GG model and liked those features.
