Title: cloudy water
Post by: devilwoman on August 30, 2006, 08:24:56 pm
:-/ ok looks like there was detergent in the dishwasher when I cleaned my filters and now the water is very cloudy...have tried for a week to filter it out by endlessly cleaning my filters with a hose.  My tube is still cloudy after a more than a week...is this a hopeless situation...?  Do I need to dump and start over??

Seems to me that changing the water and starting from scratch will be less time consuming (and cheaper!) than trying to throw more chemicals or hosing down filters....when the water becomes like a nasty teenager, drain and fill. ;)
(the above is my $.02 and not to be confused with REAL advice.)

What's that saying?   something like:   "when in doubt, throw it out"

Look on the bright side.  Changing water in your hot tub is like changing sheets on your bed....it feels oh so nice the first time you get in.

P.S. I've been reluctant to use my dishwasher to clean my filters for this reason (we abuse our dishwasher).
