Help! I hope we didn't make a huge mistake.! We purchased a Hot Springs Prodigy hot tub last week, delivery will be in a week. I have been scanning the forum to see if anyone else has a Prodigy, but I did not see any comments on this tub. I would like to know if we made a good choice. Any feedback would be appreciated, pros and cons. Thank you in advance.

The company has a good reputation, I don't know anyone with the particular model, but I think most will say you didn't make a bad decision. I'll assume this is the perfect tub for you. Where in PA are you from?

Hey,
We bought a Prodigy a few months ago mainly for therapy. My wife has degenerative disc disease, and I have arthritis and type 2 diabetes. We looked for a tub that was good quality, not too big, and didn't have overly powerful jet pressure, as my wife's condition is quite sensitive to pressure on her back. The diverters let us each tailor the therapy nicely. The Prodigy fits the bill quite nicely for us, but if you want a tub that is very powerful, then you could be disappointed in your choice.

The Prodigy has a "Jetstream" jet - which is like a firehose under water. That one jet is in the back of a single seat which if often overlooked. It is a bit like a recliner, only it doesn't have a raised knee area.
If you want a good pounding, that's your seat. But hang on!
Enjoy your new spa.
