My husband, 6 kids and I are looking for the RIGHT hottub. We were going back and forth between a Hot Spring and a Sundance, now we've thrown a Dimension 1 into the mix. We will wet test all three this week. We really like the Nautilus but the price of the Sojourn was more attractive. We know the relationship with the dealer is crucial. We don't want a lounge, like open seating. I have a bad back -- can't wait to make a decision. Any advice? :)

i also suffer from a bad back...the lounge in the d1 chairman II is awesome...however if your on the short side it might not be as beneficial...wet test it...

Check out the new Jacuzzi 400 series. Love it! ;)

Cookie, where did you hear that the relationship with the dealer is crucial?
Here?
Don't worry about the dealer. Narrow down the tub you like, price, and what you get for your money.
To be honest unless you have problems(pretty rare with good name brand tubs), most likely you won't even talk to your dealer after you purchase your tub.

hahahahahaha
Maybe if you're antisocial. Your dealer- get this- is there to HELP. There is no reason you shouldn't pick a dealer and salesperson you feel comfortable with. If you have the intention of buying your spa from one dealer and going to the other one for support, chances are you're going to alienate both sides.

Cookie,
I am not a dealer just a hot tub owner.
In my opinion the relationship you have with your dealer is very important.
1)I don,t want to give just anyone my money
2)this is the person to help with financing(if applicable)
3)this is probably where you will buy your chemicals
4)its the first person you contact if you have warranty issues
5)you will probably deal with them about water quality issues as well as this forum
6)installation
There are alot of other reasons but that seems to be my top 6.

i agree...choose a dealer that you trust and feel comfortable with...i had a few minor questions, and my dealer was there to answer them asap...
