Title: The next tub I get in.
Post by: wmccall on August 13, 2006, 06:25:51 pm
Is one you can't buy. It may not be anything special therapy wise, but what a view, and the view is always changing!

I'll let you know unless one of you beat me to it.

I hope its above 99 degrees.

I have to admit that I am biased.  My son is the First Officer on NCL's Aloha Princess sailing in the Hawaian Islands.

A question I could never anser since I NEVER use public spas or swimming facilities. If I cant test the water, I don't use the water.

Sounds like a tough job.  I'll give them a try sometime.

Didn't see my cruise line on there.  :P

I have sailed several times on Windjammer Cruises across the Caribbean. I believe the Captain of the Polynesia, while at anchor at St. Martin, described the small vessels as boats, the Polly as a ship, and the nearby massive floating hotel barges as, and I quote, "pieces of sheeit".  :o

His opinion, not mine, although I think there may be something to it...  8-)

I did take a cruise up the inside passage of Alaska and on to Anchorage but I think that was on one of the lesser known cruise lines and the name escapes me at the moment.

But if and when I cruise the Carribbean again I will likely return to Windjammer for my trip. It probably isn't for everybody and no doubt there are times the floating hotels have their attraction. The Windjammers may not have either a pool or a spa for example but then I have never had a problem using the Caribbean herself for my relaxation needs!

My resort in Disney didn't like my test strip results. My kids didn't like the fact I wouldn't let 'em swim. Never leave home without the test strips.

I'll post a few pics either later on today,or tomorrow,of hot tubs etc that can be found on Royal Caribbean cruise line ships.

If the Titanic was in service these days,Would you find a CaVeN spa on it?  What cruise line/s of today, would you find a CaVeN product?
