I brought a Jacuzzi (2003) about 4 months ago and basically the diverter valve doesn't work....The knob used to turn the dirverter valve is removed, the valve stem itself is chewed up (rounded corners etc)... bottom line, I can't even make it work.. I know it is under warrenty etc.. My question is.. Has Jacuzzi upgraded to a better valve?.. are 'other' replacement valves available ? etc.. I just don't want to go through this again (warrenty replacement)... LIke I said, tub is only 4 months old.. And yes, I turn the valve with the jet pump on (I won't do that in the future)... thats the only way I know of preventing this problem in the future unless Jacuzzi has a 'better' valve...
