Title: Valve problems
Post by: Bill_Stevenson on July 13, 2006, 03:04:50 pm
Yesterday my dealer called and said he had a new valve to install in our Envoy.  This particular valve is the one that controls the moto in the motomessage.  He came and broke the new one trying to install it.  He said this is the third redesign of this valve.  Is anyone else having trouble with this valve?

Thanks,

Bill

I haven't had any problems yet. It's nice of your dealer to come out and break it for you though.  :)

Should I wait until mine breaks?

I haven't heard of this problem.  I'll check with my service manager.

We've had issues with valves before in the Jetsetters, but never in the Envoys.

Tell your dealer to call tech support.  When we tried to fix valves on a few Jetsetters, we were advised that you had to replace all three (Jetsetter's valves also control the footwell jet on the same bartop).  This may be the case with the Envoy, but I'm not sure.

The dealer is in touch with the factory.  As I understand it this valve problem is un unique to the Envoy, it is the double moto that is the common denominator.
