Title: Artesian Captiva
Post by: JeffB on June 25, 2006, 01:53:14 pm
I looked at tubs seriously late last summer and liked the Artesian Captiva best in a midsized and midpriced spa.
Then held off buying for various reasons. I made the "mistake" of stopping at the dealer last weekend and wet tested a 2006 Captiva. Many changes from the 2005, but I liked the 2005 better. And he had one 2005 left. So, obviously, I bought it. $6,500 out the door and delivered. That included taxes, cover, coverlift, steps, ozone, circ pump, three jet pumps, upgraded 5-year warranty, ss jet covers, and start up chemicals. Delivered and fired up on Friday with no problems. I am now in the process of getting the very high iron content  of my well water out of the tub water with Metal Be Gone and filter rinsings. Eco One ads say the Eco One pre-filter removes suspended metals, including iron. Has anyone used? Is it effective?  Thanks for listening.

Thanks. Any experience with the Eco One pre-filter as a way to remove iron from well water?
