Great Site
Looking to get a new hot tub, Had to sell our house with a 2000 Altimar-Sundance. I'm slowly turning into a lizard and need get dipped 2x a day to survive. Spas looked like they have improved in the last 6 years as well as the $$. I'm steering towards a Cameo (I'm 6"1" and the altimar lounger was a bit tight.
Need advice if anyone has gotten a 2005 or 2006 Cameo (big makeover from years past)? Roughly what could I negotiate a price for a new Cameo?
Is there something better out there? Local dealers in area are HS and Sundance. Really appreciate the help, see you in the surf.

You have to try the Marquis Epic, you won't regret it. The other brands you are looking at are all quality manufacturers. I would wet test all 3.

Waterman,
All 3 of those spa brands are represented by owners/dealers on this site and all will get favorable reviews. Do yourself a favor and visit each of them if you indeed have a local dealer around. If possible you should wet test as well. You can't go wrong with any of those choices.

Have a 2006 Cameo. Husband 6'5", #1 son 6'6", #2 son 6'2", daughter 6', and little ole me 5'8" and lounger is perfect for all of us. Deep enough and plenty leg room in all seats.

I've got a 2005 Sundance Cameo. My better half is 6'1" and the Altamar lounge was too small for him but the Cameo lounge was a perfect fit.
Just to give you an idea, our price was 10K with stereo, ozone, lift cover and 4' wide steps.
Good luck in your search.

You might also try the Marquis Reward. It would compare very favorably with the Cameo model. Of course, so would the Epic - as MarKee suggested.

We have the Marquis Epic. Husband is 6'3" and I'm 5"3". The aidirondack seat fits both of us. It's like a lounger but different. Like others have said, "wet test the 3 models". Good luck.

Epic is my choice!

By all means wet test. We really liked the Marquis products until we wet tested and found out they weren't for us. To each his own.

NO difference between the 2005 and 2006 Cameo.

Envoy- you'll never regret it. It's probably going to cost more than anything Marquis or Sundance throws at you, but it's well worth the investment.

The Envoy is a step down from the Grandee....and we have an '06 Grandee in our yard...that was about $8300...We still all have all arms and legs at this point. ;) Plus, it's proven to be very efficient (and comfy), which IMHO is VERY important.
Best of luck on your final choice!
