Title: Chemical Brand differences
Post by: DoubleA on June 12, 2006, 11:10:42 pm: I was just wondering if there is any difference between pH decreaser from Bioguard thats 6 dollars for 22 oz and the 8lb jug Pool time brand for 10 dollars. They both say Sodium Bisulfate 99% on them just not sure if it would be bad for the tub or me. Thanks in advance.

If the ingredients are essentially the same, then the less expensive product will be identical to the spa packaged one.
I've been using the #8 cannisters for some time.

Wow! The Bioguard corporation must fill those bottles one granule at a time with tweezers, or they're laughing all the way to the bank.
