I'll probably never go to another concert.  Went to the Bob Segar one a few weeks ago.  I was online buying tickets the moment the tickets went on sale.  All I could get was crappy seats at a premium price.  Yet, there were at least 5000 people with better seats than me.  Any more for sporting events or concerts you have to know someone or pay an extortionist.

Death to ticket brokers and scalpers.

Might have to look into purchasing some tickets,if they tour our area.

Wifey and I just saw the WHO last night in Tampa.  Was amazed that the olde boys could rock as hard as they did. Was impressed with Townsend! He sounds as good if not better, than in his younger years.  Roger sounds the same, lost his voice 15-20 years ago and never got it back.

I and others feel fortunate to see this concert as,2 weeks ago....when everyone was at the original concert date,it was cancelled. We all saw the warm-up band,Roger did try to perfom....opened for about 10 seconds and dropped the mic, never to be seen again. Townsend came out 10 min later and apoligized, and promised to return, which they did!

Worked out well for us,as we stayed at the Hard-Rock next door for free, and the wifey made a few bucks at the casino after the concert.

We might go see Roger Waters next....and it's looking like we'll get another nite free at the hotel.

Bill, don't fret over tickets....tickets easy to come by!

I'd love to see RUSH in concert, not because I was their biggest fan, but just to take me back a lot of years. I saw the Who in the early 90's I think. I was definitely one of the youngest there. Now I work with all these 20-25 years olds who dont know who the pinball wizard is. Makes me feel way older than I am.

I saw Missing Persons at Six Flags in 1984.  I had a Mohawk and so did Dale Bozzio, the lead singer.  She also had on a clear plastic bra with electric tape covering her whipples.  She bent down and rubbed my head.  Then a fight broke out and me and my friends threw a security guard over the railing and under the stage.  Then we ran.

Only wild thing I've ever done in my whole life.

Took a girlfriend to Bon Jovi in Oklahoma City in 1989.  Couldn't hear for a week.  Girlfriend wanted me to do my hair like Bon Jovi.  It ended up looking like Flock of Seagulls combover.  Girlfriend dumped me.  She had a great ass.

Bon Jovi is still pretty big.   I never cared for them, but I was surprised to learn, he is one the top selling US recording artist of all time.  Huh. Go figure.  100, 000,000 sales.  That buys a lot of hair spray.

I hope Havenhead goes on tour soon.  ;D

A few years ago, 1976-77, to be exact. I was working at a silk screen business.  Some of us made a half dozen 'pirated' RUSH 'Starman' t'shirts.  They looked pretty good too. (we also made a few shoe company shirts, too.)

It's interesting what a thread can make one remember that had long been forgotten.

Thanks H823putt, for jogging my memory....don't send the copyright police to my house, I'll deny it all. :-X

The last 'rock' concert I went to was either KISS, prior to taking off the make up or Emerson, Lake and Palmer.  The most recent was for my DW, Kenny Rogers.

Looking closely you could see the top of my head on the album. I almost made the cover.  :P Tha patch of Blonde directly underneath the "D" in Ted.   ;D  My two friends Dave and John P. are in the forefront, lower right side.

Yea. we rock.  ::)

Out here in sunny So Cal, I've got no fewer than THREE different opportunities.

Those guys are timeless.  They were  my FIRST concert with UFO at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in 1976!  31 years later and still going strong.....
