Hello!
I wanted to introduce myself. I'm the Branch Manager of a HS dealer in Longview, TX (northeast near the Louisiana border). We have 4 stores in E. Texas and Shreveport, LA. We have sold Watkins products exclusively for 20 years and are a spa dealer only. No pools, billiards, furniture, etc.
I ran across this board a few weeks ago and have found some invaluable information from many of the members. It has been a real eye-opener to go back and read most of the relevant posts here and has helped me in my sales presentations of late.
I probably won't have a great deal to say on here but I will be checking the board daily. If I can be of service to anyone, please feel free to give me a holler.
Thanks!
Chris O.

Chas,
Unfortunately I'm not going to the dealer meeting this year, only the Boss. He figure we had a good enough time in New Orleans last year to last us until 2006! ;D ;D ;D

Funny thing is that both of us posted at the exact same time with a welcome!
East_TX_Spa,
On second thought we have to many HotSpring people here! if we continue to allow it you guys are going to take over and start beating up on poor Arctic people...!
(just kidding! We're glad you signed on!)

stuart,
Thanks for the warm welcome!
The way I see it, there's enough business to go around and it's good that there are some really straight shooters in this industry.
Fortunately, I don't have to go head-to-head with the Arctic brand around here. Evidently (judging from what I've read on this forum), there would be no way we could compete!!!
-
I would also like to welcome ETS. Anyone that uses the word "holler" can't be all bad. :)

Thanks salesdvl,
I'll more than likely be using several words that aren't found in the Big Book of King's English! ;)

Arctic probably wouldn't do well there, they would overheat in your climate. After all they're "Made in Canada for Harsh Northern Conditions!"

No one has much to say at first but we expect you to jump in with both feet soon enough. Remember, all topics and responses need to be 100 % spa related (unless they're funny).

Howdy East Texas!
Good to have you here! Please, join in anytime, I'm sure you will be a valuable asset to the discussions!

Welcome, Shreveport, thats where I first learned to drive a standard transmission. (See rubber marks on road near the Le Bossier Inn) Again, Welcome.

Welcome TX,
a word of caution though this forum is addictive. :o I have one computer in my office logged on here most of the day while I work on the other one. ;D

I know what you mean, wetone. Over the course of the last 2 months I've gone back through every page on here and read most of what I thought were relevant (for me) posts. I've sent this link to our other stores as well as the HS dealer in Texarkana. Great information (good, bad, & ugly) contained within!

I had forgotten his name was Chris, for some reason I was thinking Arnold. Or would that be Ahhhnold.
-
His name ought to be Jalapeno Cornbread.
