Title: Sundance Warranty question(m)
Post by: tjvm on April 20, 2006, 06:47:20 pm
Does anyone know if the Sundance warranty is transferrable?

Also, If you could buy a year 2000 Sundance Optima for $3000 or a 2004 Sundance Optima (with stereo, chrome arounbd jets and other extras) for $5,000 which would you purchase?  Neither unit is being sold by a dealer.  Both are in excellent shape.

Thanks!!!!!!!

Thanks.  Not the news I was hoping for, but it was what I had expected.

Any opinion on which tub mentioned above is the better option?

Thx

I wouldn't put much value on a 2 year old spa stereo with no transferrable warranty.

I'd go with the newer one, all other things being equal, but I'd make a much lower offer, just to test the seller.
Try offering a couple grand less.  You do have to have that spa moved, and they weigh somewhere around #900 empty.
I also woulldn't get that worried about not having a warranty.  Look at it this way- you'll be getting a quality spa for thousands less than new.
You could spend $10K on a new one easy.  For that $6 to $7K "savings" you could pay for a couple service calls and still be way ahead.
