Are flotation devices required for hot tub use, or just suggested?

Rather an odd position to be in.

Perhaps she is squating on the seat to keep her flotation devices above water but it looks more like she is trying to give birth than be sexy, no matter how large her flotation devices may be...

I'm trying to talk my wife into having our baby in a HotSpring Envoy, but she's afraid I'll post pictures on this forum.  She should be afraid.

My hospital has a whirlpool tub that the midwives use for birth, personally I think it's discusting! Someone wallowing in post pregnancy body excrements is for some sick people ... just give birth the way it's been done for a  long time.

And that lady in Term's picture is squating on a volcano jet... :o ::)
