Just curios, I know tubs provide great therapy, hubby and I saw the results immediatly. Just wondering if epsom salts would harm the tub,and or add to the theraputic benefit? Any insight?

TMJ, I guess the chemists on here will probably respond to your question best, but Epsom Salt is Magnesium Sulfate and I think it could mess up your water chemistry.
It would probably be best to save your Epsom Salt for the bath tub. :-/

Epson salts would blow your TDS off the chart. Soak your tush in the bath tub with epson salt and leave the hot tub for relaxation

The Epsion salt council (yes, there is one. :) ) says check with you hot tub dealer. (cop out answer)
I flunked chemistry, but something is nagging at me that this thinking it can't be good for the heater. Maybe, it's just the word "salt."
Salt....oh! Magarita.
/A.D.D this afternoon.

I thought I had heard every possible question, but that was a good one.

Sorry Drew you slipped your post ahead of me. Magnesium Sulfate is:
A laxative
A soak aid for minor sparins and bruises
AND a good fertilizer.... ;D
Probably not at all good for your hot tub

A laxative in the spa don't sound much fun to me, maybe to some folks in Arkansas.
