I have an '05 Epic.  Great Spa.  I think $8000 for the Destiny is a very good price.

Marquis makes a great product. ok, i am bias  ;D lol but others will agree.
8k is a good price. we actually have it listed for 8500 including the steps/remote/lifter.....but we include delivery as well.
i would check to see if delivery is included or if it is an extra cost. IF it is extra, you might (not promising anything here) be able to work a deal out. just wondering, are you getting the in-home remote as well? its a nice feature.

The destiny was one of the top tubs on our list.  We ended up with the Epic though.  I think $8,000 is a good price.

We sell the Epic for $10,190 so yes, that is a great price.  The Destiny is the most powerful spa Marquis makes.  The HK40s will amaze you, if you haven't tried it out, you need to.

Just curious...more powerful than the Epic?

it is more powerful in the sense that is uses the same pumps but with less jets....therefore getting more flow though the jets which brings back to the same situation about why more jets are not always better...Marquis makes the jets work with the Epic because of the 4 tri zone's instead of 2 that are the Destiny .....

Cappy, would you really want the jets to be any more powerful? My husband loves that pillar between the deep therapy seat and the right cool down. He cranks that up and I swear it is beastly...much too powerful for me  ::)

Great quality spa - I have the Epic
I'm from Canada so not sure about the price
The spa monitor is standard with the spa.
Get them to throw in an extra set of filters, a spa blanket, and five spinner jets - enough for one seat.

Well I just bought the epic, I loved the destiny, but they had the epic right next to the destiny, so I tried it. I loved the spa. So  I decided on the epic. Is this a good price, 9500, includes, cover, cover lifter, steps, chemicals, ozonator, free delivery, can't wait, should be here 4-5 weeks

Marquis makes wonderful spas!  I really wanted the Destiny - but my patio would only accomodate the Quest.  If I get a larger spa - I can't get out my bedroom door to use it!   ;D

The Epic is one huge beautiful spa - may you enjoy for years!

Now the waiting begins - it will seem like years till your soaking in hot water now that you've made your decision and bought the spa!

congrats on the EPiC, great spa. what color combo did you go with?
4-5 weeks might seem like a long time, but it will give you some time to get prep work done. b4 you know it, spatopia.

Congrats, the Epic is my favorite spa in the whole world!  The deep therapy seat opposite the adirondack is phenomenal.  Looks like you got a good deal too.

Everyone talks about more power, more power.  I can only leave my Reward on high for 5-10 mins before its uncomfortable then its usually low or just the whirlpool jets running.  The more power thing is vastly over rated with sales pitches or new buyer wants

rick,
i can understand what you are saying. yet everyone has their limit on "max power" settings. deep therapy can be and is beneficial. 1 of the joys of having so many manufactueres and a free market. theres a tub for everyone

I am anxious to see what Cappy says too. We also have the Epic and like I have said before, there isn't a bad seat in the house! It has taken me 3 months but with lots of help from the patient folks on here, I think I finally have my water straightened out. My husband says it's the best thing we have ever purchased! And I can honestly say it has been great for sharing family time with our teenagers. Hopefully your wait will go by fast and you will be finding a favorite spot before you know it!

I have the Quest model - and there are plenty of seating options!  There is plenty of power and lots of massage action - even before I open the air injection!

Not a bad seat at all!  If I'd had the space - I'd have gotten a bigger spa - just cause I always want the best!  You will be SO happy with your spa - I feel your pain - the waiting seems endless!

Soon you will be in hot water!
