Title: Super Bowl XL
Post by: OKC on February 05, 2006, 04:35:15 pm
Alright,  Who has a TV by their hot tub tonight?  I can say I pulled a 27" out of the garage and set it on the Bar.  The second half should be very relaxing.

Go Seahawks.!

ESPN had a poll of who would win and it shows the results by state. Pretty obvious the PA and WAS were a landslide and most others went as expected. Two things stood out. Alabama was skewed to Seattle due to Alexander playing for the Tide and the state of Ohio went against what the other states around them think, they chose Seattle. I think the state of Ohio in general will be bummed to see Pit win again.

This was the absolute WORST Super Bowl ever..even the Stones were pathetic. The Steelers should feel ashamed to accept this victory. ANd I live in PA!

This was absolutely the BEST superbowl ever, even though I agree, the Stones were pathetic.  As a matter of fact, this was the first Superbowl that we had something to root for.

Our claim to fame, a call from the NFL in New York who had been referred to us by the Detroit Lions to provide two tubs for the Steelers to be used during their practice sessions at the Silverdome.  I personally had a chance to meet all the players right down to the coach, the trainers and the team doctor all of whom signed the covers on the Lotus Bay and the Sarena Bay.  It was absolutely awesome. :o ;D :o ;D :o ;D :o ;D

I was absolutely amazed at how down to earth everyone was.  AND NOW, they are the world champions. ;D ;D ;D

Picture "The Bus" in Hot Water, and now "The Bus Stops Here, In Detroit.  WOW what a shot in the arm.
