Title: Back from vacation
Post by: Chas on June 16, 2005, 10:28:42 am: I re-read my last long post in the now-removed eight page thread, and I feel my mind had to have been on vacation. To quote our venerated elder-statesman moderator Bill, "I occasionally post before I think."

I apologize.

I try so very hard to stay neutral and not bash, but even though I started out by simply stating my own experiences, by the second paragraph I was bashing. Big time. I don't think that is a good thing for any of us, so please accept my apology.

I'm not quite ready for a group hug - but how about we all go back to basic civility?

I would go back and do one thing the same..I will not stand for name calling or bashing of my personal character and will defend that!

I feel that everyone has the right to respect and that I have more than earned that respect over the last 2 years helping out on this forum.

As far as my comments that stated a personal warning..That would have been much better handled in a PM or one on one email. I apologize for that also.

Now my topic of Whatsthebest-story I stand behind whole heartedly and hope that everyone took it in the tone and nature it was meant. Those that didn't may have some other issues that they need to PM me with and we can discuss it!

No matter what happens though I'm not letting Steve or Mendo hug me!! :P (I'm ok with one from Lori though) ;D
