It doesn't appear that there was any room left.  That's a whole lotta water displacement occuring.

A true canadian would have thrown someone overboard to make room for the beer.  These must be tourists.  ;)

I'm growing tired of this stereotypical Canadians and beer thing  >:(
Not ALL of us would throw a friend overboard for beer  (depends on the beer ;D)...we like Scotch too!...and it doesn't take up much space... (Highland Park 12 Y.O. / Ardbeg 10 Y.O. for me, please ;) )

The bear is wating off to the side, waiting for a space to clear out.

That was a wise and talented bear.  Most bears are just plain dumb.

One bear I heard tell of was pretty crafty.  He was sitting on a log in the woods doing what bears naturally do.  A little ol' rabbit happened along and sat down beside him to take care of his business.

Mr. Bear offered up his salutations to Mr. Rabbit and then, after pleasantries were exchanged, broached a delicate subject:

"Do you ever have a problem with squat sticking to your fur?"

"Why, no!" replied Mr. Rabbit, at which point Mr. Bear grabbed Mr. Rabbit and commenced to wiping his backside with him.

Never, ever answer a bear when he's asking personal hygiene questions.  You will end up in a squat load of trouble.

I like the "water displacement frozen in time"  courtesy of the guy closest to the camera.

The deck of that boat better be incredible.

I agree on the displacement comment.  Sure hope they have a water hose on that houseboat.  Doesn't look likje there will be much water left in the tub once they all get out.

If you have never had the chance to houseboat in the north country I am here to tell you it was one of the most enjoyable vacations I have ever been on. If your boat savy or have someone in your party that is, you will enjoy a week or to of this on a remote northern Minnesota lake or chain of lakes more than you can imagine. The wildlife and remote sandy beaches will make you want to come back and do it again. Late July and August will bring temperatures in the 80's and very little rain.

And retired.

My good friend Bonnibell posted a picture of me and my wife in the BS section of this forum. Here is our picture:
