feel so bad for a Dallas Cowboy football player. :-/ As much as I dislike Dallas (and it is only natural), I wouldn't wish a mistake like Tony Romo made on anyone. Even my husband (who bleeds green for the Eagles) felt bad for Romo. :'(
-
Boni,
I do feel bad for Romo but I really didn't think Dallas was going to do much in the play offs after watching the Detroit/Dallas game last week :o
-
I didn't think so either Canada, but still to have the fate of the post season in your hands...and drop it...Usually a loss is a team effort in most respects. This was a one person failure and I feel sad for him.
I sure hope you will be rooting for my Eagles, and Garcia (given where he came from)!
-
Yep a heartbreaking finish for Romo, they need to do some serious work on his hands.
And Boni, you're welcome for Garcia. Seems like everyone the Niners let go shine elsewhere. Come to think of it that seems to happen to all of the SF bay area teams.

That was one of the most exciting 4th quater endings Ive seen in a while
Romo is nolonger the Dallas golden boy Bledsoe wouldnt have goofed it
I wouldnt feel bad for him that one play didnt cost them the game if their returner would ve held on to the Ball there wouldnt have been a safety. The Defense lost them the game not Romo.
-
My wife felt/feels the same way as you Boni. I did tell her too.....lets not forget,if Dallas did make the field goal,Seattle did have a little over a minute of time to work with ;)

Football is the ultimate TEAM sport. You win as a team, you lose as a team.

Not to mention it was ROMO that got them to the post season! Well ROMO and company. All in all he had a great season. As they said on sportcenter, he will need to deal with it his own way, and not dwell on it. He has a great career ahead of him.
He just cant get stuck on this and let it ruin him.
and as for Garcia, he sure didnt do well with the browns. :( but then again, who does? yeek!
-
Well I'm still smilin"! Thank goodness the Eagles pulled it out...it was a real nailbiter and almost ruined my dinner!! ...
A perfect example of how important that holder is for the kicker...
I was really impressed by the interview Tiki Barber gave after the game...he is a real class act!
Go E A G L E S ..... ;)

Boni,
Congrats to your Eagles and your Canadian made quarterback ;D

HOW CAN YOU FEEL SORRY FOR ROMO??? THE GUY MAKE A GAZILLION DOLLARS, HAS A HOT GIRLFRIEND, IS GETTING A FREE TRIP TO HAWAII FOR THE PROBOWL (WHICH HE DOESN'T DESERVE). THE GUY HAS EVERYTHING GOING FOR HIM, HE MISSES THE PLAYOFFS HIS FIRST YEAR AT QB AND PEOPLE FEEL SORRY FOR HIM...SHEEZ!!!
P.S. GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHO DAT?!?!

You're right and I know that but...still to have your face plastered all over the disaster of the playoffs...I guess I imagine if that was my kid... :(.

I felt sorry for him for a split second until I remembered I grew up a die-hard Redskin fan and HATE the Cowboys. I certainly don't wish anything negative on Romo or any other Cowboy when out of uniform but when they're wearing the team colors I can't help but to have bad thoughts and want to wish them to the cornfields.
-
So since the Skins are out of it..are you now a Ravens fan?
-
A champion will be made through disasters like that. But on the other hand...any team that gives T.O. a job is a team that I am against.... even if my Saints picked up T.O. I would drop them like a bad spa dealer!!!
Well I guess last nights game proves that the SEC is the most dominant division in the nation. And yes LSU was the strongest team in the SEC! 2 bad calls led them to lose against florida and Auburn...Go Tigers!!
Go Saints!!!! Who dat!!
-
How about the team that gave him a job but wouldn't let him play?
Do they count for anything? ;)..

Ditto these sentiments from a transplanted Redskin fan in TN. I hate to see the Cowboys win anything, even a coin toss!!

I'll go out on a limb and root for the Chargers.
