Post by: bosco0633 on November 23, 2005, 09:21:14 pm
Well, I finished my 12 hour shift and came home to -9 and really cold.  Just started snowing really well.  Well I threw on my tuke and went out and well here you go.  I hope you enjoy it. ;D

My place includes cold beer, cold air and hockey and tukes.  This is the place we call Canada!!!

Bosco,

If you've imaged a private area of yahoo, the link won't carry.  Try uploading to imageshack.us and using the direct url.

snowed all night long and warmed up to minus 1 C today.  It is getting cold, when im not in my tub, I can barely handle the temp.

Have my digital thermostat set to 17 over night.  I have been up at 4:30am for work so it is like 17in the house right now.  I can barely type. lol

As soon as im finished work tonight, I am going for a long soak with some daddy POPS.   Also call them brown pops.

Anyway off to work.

Later all

Hey Cappy, you think you are jealous!! It would be awsome to me to  soak in a real nice hot tub snow or not..only I still don't have a hot tub. I guess it is still riding around on that truck. I thought I was doing good, being patient but this 4 day holiday got real long...and I found myself using the chalk and drawing my Epic on the deck again....My husband kept saying  "You know if we had the hot tub now...."
Maybe next week will bring good news. :-/
I have to know... have you hooked up your sound system yet?

Go SENS Go!!
Went to the Game Saturday night.
Kinda slow and lacklustre, but thens took 'em 4-1.
Kind of embarassing for Boston when Ottawa scored 35 seconds into the 1st period!

Yo bonibelle...we hooked it up but you know we're not all that impressed!  We don't have the remote, dealer had to order it. We're running it off the stereo system we have...which is a very good system, but you can hardly hear it.  When the jets are going it's very faint??  I don't know what the deal is??

I think we are going to buy a separate receiver and put it outside and see if that makes it better.

I can't believe you don't have your Epic yet.  What is going on?? It's been on the truck how long??

Oh Cappy, My dealer told me almost two weeks ago (tomorrow it will be 2 weeks) that it was on the truck on the way here. I haven't heard a thing yet. I am trying to be patient but now I think I should be hearing something soon. My husband is getting a bit anxious too.  I hope you find out the problem with your sound system. I think they told me you will need a certain wattage in your receiver to get the sound to the speakers. If our Epic doesn't sound like the ones in the showroom, my husband will be VERY disappointed! I tried several times to talk him out of the sound system so we could get our tub sooner, but he said he REally wanted it. We are having a major warm up this week and it would be perfect to have delivery and set things up before it gets really cold again.  I will keep you  updated!

How many stops did that truck have to make??!!  We have an ONKYO sound system with separate components.  It's a beautiful system.  I don't know what the wattage is, but I'm going to be very disappointed if we now have to buy something else to get the level of sound on the spa!!

I'll keep you posted on that.  I'll be interested to hear from you when you get yours all hooked up.

Keeping my fingers crossed that you have your Epic this week!!

I checked the Marquis site out of curiosity.  It says 60-120 watts is the recommended power output for the receiver driving the system.  Probably well within range of your Onkyo.  It also noted that it will mute the volume if you send too much power to it.  Can't imagine it being the receiver.   Try hooking regular speakers up to the lead you are using for the tub to insure it is not unless you are connecting the tub direct with the wire that comes with it.  If that's the case, switch speakers to the output you have the tub to make sure everything is OK with the receiver.
