Title: Hopefully not "Am I weird II"
Post by: anne on January 01, 2007, 04:26:32 pm
OK, dont want to start another weird debate about llamas and other animals and body fat % and all, but............do you sleep naked? I'm not sure if I'm an oddball or not, but I hate PJ's except for lounging around BEFORE bed. If I have to, undies and a tank top are ok, but anything more just gets all twisted and I get WAY too warm. In this cold weather, my BF will be in sweats and a t shirt, and I am perfectly happy with nothing but the down comforter. Hmmmmmmm........

Hmmm... I'm bad.  I usually wear my clothes from that day to bed.  I never realize I'm going to bed and I just fall asleep that way.  If I tub before bed, then I put PJ's on.  The only time I go nekkid is if I'm trying to get some.   :)

I'd say about 80% of the time I wear just boxers and the other 20% it's just me and the sheets.  :)

I'm with you.  PJs are just too uncomfortable.  I'll wear them around the house, but hate them in bed and on top of it, I throw off a lot of heat so any clothing under the covers doesn't work well for me.

I sleep in boxers.

I hate wearing a shirt or long pants.  They get all twisted up in the night.

When I see ads for PJs with long sleeves and long pants, I always wonder how the heck people can sleep in those things.

Well I'm from So. Calif.....and I went thru enough early morning earthquakes to realize that I needed alittle something on if I didn't want to go streaking into the street after a shake. Now that I'm in Iowa, it's just too friggen cold to be nekkid.

I'm the reverse of Why Not, about 80% naked and 20% boxers.

Just want to mention that I love this forum - constantly reinforcing that there are women out there that do in fact a) like nudity and b) have high sex drives   ;)

Maybe we could turn this into "All You Critters 2" the unrated version. ;)

And for the record, there's no way in hell I could sleep with something on -- too constricting.  That said, thank god for flannel sheets in the winter time!!!

Well, I agree with MLG. Living in the country, brings all kinds of surprises at night. You never know if you have to jump out of bed in a hurry. Just last year I was adding on a media room and had doors nailed shut that would normally be open. The wind blew the door shut and you guessed it there I was, in all my glory. I had just stepped out for a second to yell at the dog. I get a lot of ribbing on that. So now I wear something.

Me and the misses both sleep nakid. She says I give off so much bodyheat that I am her electric blanket.

Happy new year, all!

Skin is in.  It's the only way to sleep! :)

That's odd, Brooke... this doesn't work for me.  Although it does work for my wife, come to think of it!  ::)

It was on tonight. And I was in my baby suit.  But I cheated. I looked to see if anyone was online. There wasn't. But really I don't  care, your not going to see much.

Why don't you let me be the judge of that, eh?

Yeah, my BF will be in a t shirt and sweats, and still comes to me for warmth! He does not *object* to me being in the buff ::), but he finds it odd that I dont get cold.

 ;)  :) ;D

And what's wrong with llamas?  Some of my best friends are llamas and alpacas.  ;)

Anyhow, I cant stand to sleep in anything.  I get too hot, feel to restricted.  The wife also goes au natural.

But then again, what does it matter what others do? Who cares?  For crying out loud, it's your life, and your house and bed, and your own comfort and you are wondering it it's wierd?  Or am I missing something?

I have slept in my skivvies for close to half a century. But in the last six months I have lost over 65 pounds. I feel great, I can lift and move with no more trouble from my back, I tossed the cane that I had to rely on when my back would flare up - all wonderful improvements in my life! But I am not quite adjusted to how cold I feel now, and of course it being a cool winter doesn't help. Yeah yeah, I know - the low 50's doesn't qualify as a cold winter night to most of you.

So it's flannel PJ bottoms with a heavy (HotSpring) T shirt for me. And I woke up with my socks on this morning! That's a new one for me...

You don't have to really worry until you wake up with Terms socks on  :o

That's true.  It's a hanging offense in Texas to steal a man's socks while he's sleeping.  Happened to my cousin not more'n 10 years ago.

It was just curiosity. I'm certainly not going to change what works for me, but this seemed like an interesting cross section of people to ask that question. Nudity has never been a big deal to me, but I have a couple friends who think it is odd and funny that I'm "willing" to go outside naked......started me thinking about the other......

This would be all of my friends, they just don't "get it".  From their reaction you'd think I told them I stroll nude down Main street at noon, instead of in the dark in my own yard.  I'm glad for others in this forum that justify my habits :)

nude backyard strolling can lead to playing parcheezee in the buff....my hubby thinks it's a gas to wander out to the tub in his robe, wait for me to get in, and then whip his robe open to flash me (and hopefully NONE of our neighbors)...he teases me sometimes when one of the local squad cars goes by on his hunt for whatever they hunt for in a small town...he'll stand up in the tub and start waving.....er....waving his HAND that is.....he thinks it's funny that I freak. It's my luck that he'll do that some night when the cop just HAPPENS to be glancing in a mirror, or a neighbor kidlet will be out past curfew and just happen to see......we really need that privacy screen!  ;D

I hear ya anne, your'e just curious.   For a second I wondered "does she think there is a "right" way and a "Wrong" way to sleep? (I've met folks that are very concerned about things like this, and they spend a lot of time and energy trying to figure out "The right way" to live thier lifes.  ;D

I'm back asswards on this one. I like to be nekkid all the time, until I go to bed, then I have to put my jammies on.

Now the wife, she has to be in the buff, or she can't sleep. Doesn't matter to me, I win!!  ;D

When I lived in the south, I slept naked.  Since I've moved to a state that actually has a winter, I've got the waterbed heater cranked up, flannel sheets on the bed and PJs on.  I only wear a suit in the spa when somebody is visiting, otherwise, I go in naked - day or night.
