So I finnaly decided to try a little aroma therapy. Bought a bottle of "being"........"just a cap full in the center of the tub". Three minutes later I'm in the middle of I LUV LUCY SHOW with about 12 inches of bubbles and growing. I could believe it! Smelled very nice though.
OK, so in the morning I took a look at the bottle it said, SHAKE WELL. I guess I missed that the night before. But it was only one cap full!
Anyway, what do you think, will the water correct itself? Or will the anti-foam stuff work? Cut my losses and drain?

I'm laughing because I did almost the same thing with the pH Down. Now mind you this is my first time checking the water and doing the chemicals. The pH was very high 8.0-8.4, so I pull out the pH down and I add 2 lbs...yes, pounds because that's what the directions say for that ph reading. Then this morning I look at the bottle and it says:
Dosage Required per 10,000 gallons
I didn't notice that when I added it. We will be draining the spa tonight!

I hate that goat-smellin' aromatherapy crap! My beautiful, evil wife thinks it's wonderful. Her belief is that if a capful smells good, half a bottle will smell GREAT. It doesn't. She's always messing with something, my water, my checkbook, my britches, my girlfriends, always something!

Wait, you got it all wrong. I love coconut cream pie, Mexican apple pie, Oreo pie, Key lime pie, sugar pie, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, chicken pot pie, sweet tater pie (with little marshmallows), honey pie, and mincemeat pie. If there are any other kinds of pie, I like them too!
I am a pie fanatic! I like cupcakes too.

She was beautiful before that. She's pretty cute now too. I had to shave her recently (she gets matted easily because she can't reach her back to clean herself) but I will take picks when her fur grows back.

I'll take your advise..........no, maybe, yes.
Might I suggest a little Riddelin for ya-all.
Heeeellooooooooo?

"I had to shave her recently"
That line under a picture of her cat, c'mon Drewstar, where are you?
-
Man I must have been tired... I walked right into that one.

I don't know if that first cat is happy or frustrated. :P

You people need to calm down and help alwaysperky with her questions.
Since I seem to be one of the few around here who takes things seriously, I would suggest that you go ahead and drain the spa. The aromatherapy products do tend to make the water cloudy and clog the filters if used in excess. The anti-foam might help a little but it won't clear your water up the way you would like it.
I hope this helps and I'm sorry some of the folks on here get so excitable about silly things. :)

I apologize...we do sometimes (ok, a lot) venture off the subject. I'm going to look for a spa vac.

Your a better person than me Cappy... way better.

The one with the little hole that you put your thumb over and uses the water pressure to force debris up into the cannister is the best. I believe it is called the Spa Vac. It'll suck marbles off the bottom of the spa.

Darn!! Where do I get that one, Term?
Oh, I don't know that I'd say that Brooke. I just couldn't help making a comment on that cat. Geez...when you send a pic like that I'm suppose to keep my mouth shut?? Whoops...I did it again. Sorry! ;D :-[ ;)

I sell them in my store. I believe they are private labeled for HotSpring and I'm sure for other companies. Your dealer should have some.
I believe Doc sells them at www.rhtubs.com as a Paradise Spa Vac.
